The Harrison County WV Historical is looking for reliable volunteers to serve as monitors for our upcoming women’s history exhibit, “Revealed: A Glimpse Behind the Curtain of Harrison County’s Women.” These volunteers will serve during the exhibit’s weekend hours from 12:00-5:00 pm on August 3, 4, 10, and 31 and September 1, 7, 8, 28, and 29. Volunteers will work the building’s front door security desk and monitor visitors viewing the exhibit. Because the exhibit is hosted in the Harrison County Board of Education (445 W. Main Street, Clarksburg), ALL exhibit monitors are required to complete the front door security training before their designated volunteer days. All exhibit volunteers are expected to arrive at 11:00 am to assist with set up on the day they volunteer. For any questions, please contact the HCWVHS at hcwvhs@gmail.com or 304-709-4902.
