The Teddy Bear Clinic is going to be Saturday, August 5th from 11a-1p at the Monongalia County Ballpark. This is a free event for children in the community to attend, get to pretend to be the doctor, and learn about different medical procedures. Each child that attends will receive a free teddy bear (while supplies last) and then get to take that bear to the different stations.
Volunteers will help at different stations. No knowledge about the stations is required. You will receive a "script" about what to talk about with the kids. Volunteers should be at least 16y/o and should plan on wearing a WVU shirt and shorts or capris that are appropriate for working around children and comfortable shoes (sandals, tennis).
Volunteers must provide own transportation.
