Friends of Deckers Creek is seeking volunteers to help maintain the gardens at the Outdoor Learning Park (OLP). This facility, located on the Deckers Creek rail trail just behind the Sabraton Kroger, features pavilions, wildflower gardens, and creek access. Volunteers are needed to help with weekly upkeep, including weeding, mulching, removing invasive species, and maintaining trails. You will be joining a small group of dedicated community volunteers/FODC staff.
If you intend to join us, please email rachel@deckerscreek. We will inform you if there is a cancellation due to weather or a special circumstance. FODC will provide gardening supplies and gloves, but please bring water and sun protection and come prepared to get dirty.
You can park at the back of the Sabraton Kroger parking lot to access the OLP.
