Who We Are
For more than 30 years, the planetarium at West Virginia University has given the Morgantown – and surrounding communities – a glimpse into worlds beyond our own. Sitting atop White Hall, the planetarium serves thousands of people each year, including hundreds of WVU students.
What We Do
We are often in need of volunteers for our education and outreach events. Examples of past events include: Celebrating Einstein (a multi-disciplinary expression of Einstein's theory through dance, music, and art), the Great American Solar Eclipse, and Hidden Figures in the Stars. We also help serve our current students with tutoring services.
