Who We Are

We are a pre-k through 5th-grade highly diverse public school with over 900 students with students from over 35 countries speaking more than 40 different languages.  We have an extensive garden-based learning program utilized by all grade levels.  We would welcome volunteers for projects with students, with teachers, or to work in the garden.  The garden work could include (but isn't limited to) general caretaking: watering, weeding, planting, etc. Check our site often for many opportunities to help with events and clerical work.

What We Do

As a Prek-5th grade elementary school, we create learning opportunities for our diverse group of students.  We have over 35 languages spoken at our school with over 50 countries represented.

We educate children through garden-based, project-centered learning, using the gardens as a vehicle to help students make connections to the environment, wellness, and the farm to table concept.  Students experience hands-on learning in all subject areas.
