Who We Are

The WVU People of Organic Practices (POP) is about education and providing high quality organic produce for our community. Volunteers are needed to assist in growing and putting together baskets for the CSA, community supported agricultural, as well as helping with basic farm duties. We will be working at the WVU Organic Farm located near the Mileground in Morgantown and at the WVU Greenhouse located on the Evansdale campus.

What We Do

WVU POP works year round on organic crop production.  All the crops that we harvest are organized and distributed for CSA. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Twice a year, at the beginning of the Spring and Fall semester, We are Funded by individuals in our community. They pay our club to put together a basket of crops each week for about 20 weeks. Each basket is filled with crops we grow at the WVU Organic Farm. The money we raise is used to buy seeds for the next growing season as well as raise money for summer interns at the WVU Organic Farm.
