Who We Are

Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, supporting children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Children affected can attend a free week-long summer camp which to provides a fun, activity-filled week that allows the kids to be kids. Camp Kesem is a national organization which was created at Stanford Unviersity in 2000. Since then, the organization has grown to include more than 62 chapters around the country. The growth of this organization is crucial, as more than 3 million children in the United States are affected by a parent’s cancer. Now YOU can be a part of a team that starts a chapter at WVU! If you are interested in joining the WVU Camp Kesem Team, email wvu.volunteer@campkesem.org for more information or attend one of our general body meetings!
