WV Campus Compact

WV Campus Compact is part of a national coalition of nearly 1,100 colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education. We are part of a network comprising a national office along with state and regional offices. As the only national higher education association dedicated solely to campus-based civic engagement, Campus Compact enables campuses to develop students’ citizenship skills and forge effective community partnerships.

National priorities: Establish meaningful reciprocal community partnerships, Enhance college readiness in k-12 education, Improve college access and retention, and Better prepare college students for careers and society.

We share research, support and enhance efforts with resources, develop and deepen reciprocal relationships, and bring recognition to higher education institutions across the state who are working to plan, implement, and measure the positive impacts of civic engagement and social change.
