Who We Are

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 by William Booth in London, England.  The Salvation Army is currently in in 128 countries and has been has been serving to the residents of Monongalia and Preston Counties since 1897.

 

What We Do

The Salvation Army in Morgantown provides emergency services such as groceries, diaper and baby supplies, clothing, hygiene items, dog and cat food and rent and utility assistance.  We also serve hot meals Monday-Friday from 4pm-5pm to anyone in need.  We also provide other services like the Pathway of Hope program, disaster relief, summer camps for children and drug, alcohol rehab referral and seasonal programs like Angel Tree which provides new clothes and gifts to children for Christmas.
