Who We Are
Rosenbaum Family House provides accommodations for adult patients and their families during medical care at WVU Medicine. We believe that healing involves not only excellent medical care but also the love and support of family and loved ones.
Rosenbaum Family House Founder, Hilda Rosenbaum's vision for the house was to create a "home away from home" for families facing a medical crisis.
Family House offers programs designed to provide this support. For many families facing a medical crisis, this is as important as having an affordable place to stay. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay.
What We Do
The Family House is a home away from home for patients and their families at WVU Medicine facilities.
We provide affordable lodging, free meals, free on-site laundry, free Wi-Fi and smart TVs, and other support services, made possible through the generosity of WVU Medicine and individual donors.
