Who We Are
The Homestart Closet is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity whose mission is to welcome international students and help them establish their new home in Morgantown with gifts of basic equipment.
What We Do
We strive to welcome international students moving to Morgantown and help them establish their new home here by providing basic equipment such as dishes, pots and pans, and linens free of charge to students living both on and off campus and to help fill their other needs where possible.
The Homestart Closet receives many requests from undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from countries such as Bangladesh, Brazil, Denmark, France, Ghana, India, Italy, Nigeria, Norway, Spain, Sri Lanka, and the U.K. (just to name a few!).
