C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry (WVU)

Mission: WVU Chemistry is committed to the land-grant mission, vision, and values of WVU and the Eberly College, with a specific focus on advancing the molecular sciences through innovation and education.

We train undergraduate and graduate students in chemistry and prepare them for careers in industry, academia, and government in diverse fields (e.g., healthcare, forensics, environmental, energy, pharmaceutical, food, law, materials, etc.). We work to engage the community in hands-on science to highlight the value of chemistry and science more broadly.
