Who We Are
Our mission: The Community Kitchen, Inc. is a non-profit, non-denominational organization in downtown Morgantown, WV. Established in 1984, our goal is to provide a nutritional lunchtime meal in a safe, clean, uplifting environment for the hungry in the community.
Who we are: The Community Kitchen, Inc., is managed by a Board of Directors composed of local community members, and all financial support comes from local, charitable foundations, civic organizations, churches and individuals.
Community Kitchen duties: Help with meal preparation, serving, and packaging of weekend bags. You can also help us by picking up day-old food from Kroger, Giant Eagle or Panera. People can volunteer any time between 8:30AM until 12:30PM Monday through Friday. On Thursdays, you can also volunteer from 1:30PM until 3PM to help pack weekend bags.
What We Do
We feed a hot meal to anyone who walks in the door every weekday.
