Stars and Strides Therapeutic Equine Center

We are an inclusive community of volunteers, mental health practitioners, social workers, speech-language pathologists, and riding instructors, serving children, teens, adults, and veterans, of all ages and abilities, in North Central West Virginia. Our non-profit organization founded in 2014. 

Stars and Strides' mission is to provide a therapeutic environment to help individuals overcome emotional, physical, cognitive, and social challenges through a partnership with horses.

We offer Therapeutic (Adaptive) Riding, Equine Assisted Activities, Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, Service-Learning Projects, and various other programs.
