Who We Are
Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue based out of Morgantown, WV. We are foster home based, and always looking for great foster pawrents for all domestic species as well as fundraisers, vet transporters, and other awesome humans to join our cause!
What We Do
Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue has three main components:
* we educate the community about the importance of spay/neuter as a way to help reduce the number of homeless pets and to reduce shelter euthanasia rates
* we rescue local animals in need and where possible we pull animals from our partner shelters who are at capacity and facing euthanasia due to overcrowding
* we manage local community cat colonies through our trap-neuter-release program (TNR) to help curb the population growth of cat colonies
