The Arc of The Mid Ohio Valley

Who We Are

About
Advocacy and resources for our citizens with disabilities.

For over 60 years, The Arc has been creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What began as a group of parents and concerned individuals who wanted more for their children, continues to be a grassroots organization with over 700 chapters. All are committed to working at local, state, and federal levels to promote and protect human rights and help people achieve full and satisfying lives.

What We Do

The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley provides programs and services to over 3,000 families/individuals on an annual basis. The Mid Ohio Valley chapter of The Arc serves a 10-county region, but expands to the entire state of West Virginia for several programs. We oversee and implement 28 programs and services in the areas of family support and advocacy, information and referral, direct support, adult living skills, health and wellness, early intervention, assistive technology and individual and community education.
