Volunteer: Student Lounge supportNote: In negotiation with supervisor, shifts and amount of time can be customized and are flexible Student Lounge: by students, for students What We Do: Build and develop the WoW student lounge in the downtown library. Help with a variety of tasks needed, can be catered to your interests. Some examples of tasks done in the past: building zine kits, making flyers, monitoring remote control car usage, putting “grab n go” kits together, etc. Who we are: The lounge is a safe space for students, by students. It aims to be a place where students can access various mental health and well being resources while also relaxing and having fun. The lounge encourages creativity and activism by having a crafting area for students to utilize and providing a place where they can express themselves.
