Volunteer: WVU PAWS April Marion County Humane Society VolunteeringJoin the PAWS Club at Marion County Humane Society on Saturday, April 25th from 9 AM - 12 PM to volunteer! We will be helping the Marion County Humane Society with cleaning their facility and socializing with the animals. This is a great opportunity to help the shelter and build a community within the PAWS Club. Volunteer tasks will include: Cleaning kennels and cages Washing bowls Sweeping and mopping Folding laundry Cleaning the dog yards Socializing with the animalsEvent point totals are as follows: One (1) event point per hour of volunteer workWe will organize a carpool. Please note in your signup if you can drive people or if you need a ride and where you live. Closer to the event we will contact everyone that has signed up to coordinate a carpool. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and wear clothes you don't care about. WVU PAWS shirts are encouraged, but not required. All volunteers must be registered WVU PAWS members on WVUENGAGE and have paid their dues for the Spring 2026 semester. If you are unable to attend, for any reason, please delete your signup ASAP and contact us to allow other members the chance to participate.
