Volunteer: New Deal Festival

The New Deal Festival (on July 11, 2026) is the largest event of the year for Arthurdale Heritage--a nonprofit history museum that preserves the nation's first New Deal community of Arthurdale! In 2025, we had 1,300 people attend the festival, which includes live music, food trucks, artisan craft fair, fiddle contest, kid's activities, hayrides, heritage demonstrations, and much more!

We need lots of help to make this event possible! From picking up trash, to parking cars, to helping at the entrance gates, there's something for everyone to do! Your volunteer service gets you into the festival for FREE so you can enjoy the activities before/after your volunteer shift!

This event happens rain or shine and is outdoors, so please dress appropriately.
