The Walk Planning Committee is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the walk event to ensure a safe, engaging, and successful experience for participants. Committee members work collaboratively to plan logistics, develop a clear route, secure permits, coordinate volunteers, manage communications, and support event‑day operations.

This committee serves as the central planning team, bringing together individuals with diverse skills to oversee tasks such as route design, safety planning, marketing, fundraising (if applicable), participant engagement, and vendor relations. Members contribute ideas, attend planning meetings, and help ensure that the walk reflects the mission, goals, and values of the hosting organization.
