We are needing participants to run on behalf of New Vision and be a part of our Run 4 It team. Registration is $10 to participate. Funds raised will be dispersed between our community recreation building project of a Super 7 multi sports mini arena and the housing of 2 Kenyan girls, who have received tuition scholarships to be your fellow mountaineer.
RUN FOR IT is a 2k (1.2M) walk and USATF- certified 5k (3.1M) race around the scenic mountain town of Davis, WV during Leaf Peepers Festival. The event raises funds and awareness for community organizations, projects, nonprofit agencies, educational activities, and charities located within the Foundation’s service area. Speed is not required to win.

Race Rules
- 2k walk only means just that – no running. One foot must always be on the ground. Course marshals have the final say.
- Walkers, runners, wheelchairs and strollers are permitted. Other wheeled transport is not allowed.
- Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash and must be picked up after. No other animals, please!
- Dogs cannot register for the race. FIDO is welcome to run or walk but cannot register as a team member.
- Banners used on site in conjunction with the Run For It event must be pre-approved by Tucker Community Foundation; no exceptions.
- Runners with dogs line up at the back of the pack or get DQ’d.
- Entries are not transferable. Bib switching will result in DQ.
