Mountain State Conference on Disabilities Volunteer Opportunity

The Mountain State Conference on Disabilities is seeking enthusiastic WVU undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to serve as conference volunteers. Flexible volunteer shifts are available throughout the conference and can be tailored to fit students' class schedules and availability.
Volunteers will play an important role in creating a welcoming and accessible conference experience for attendees from across West Virginia. Responsibilities may include registration and check-in, greeting and directing participants, assisting presenters with session logistics, providing wayfinding support, helping with exhibit hall activities, distributing conference materials, supporting accessibility and accommodation needs, assisting with meal and networking events, and helping with event setup and teardown.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in conference and event management, disability inclusion and accessibility, community engagement, and professional networking while supporting one of West Virginia's premier disability conferences.
