Description

To celebrate Black History Month, we are hosting story time at the Morgantown Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 17th. from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. All of our stories center on the lives of Black people. We will have story circles for 2-3 year olds and 4-6 year olds.

Volunteers need to contact NCTE'eers president Anna Smith (arsmith2@mix.wvu.edu) by Friday, Feb. 9th.

Volunteer readers will practice reading their selected book(s) aloud beforehand so that their read-aloud is polished and enthusiastic. Readers will also plan a few engaging questions for the audience to entice them to listen and to reflect afterwards.

Readers can select their own book or request a book title from NCTE'eers president.
