Description

You are invited to earn service hours for attending the opening reception for our exhibit, The Structure of History: Celebrating Industrial Heritage and Preservation in the Dr. Emory L. Kemp Collection. Volunteers may help with set-up, directing guests to the event, or monitoring fragile materials, but they are primarily responsible for attending the remarks in the Downtown Campus Library Atrium and browsing the exhibit in our Rockefeller Gallery during the reception hours, 3-5 pm. Volunteers must be able to attend the remarks from approximately 3:15 -4 pm, but do not have to stay the full time after that. Volunteers will receive half an hour of service credit for each half an hour they stay.

This is a wonderful way to learn about historic preservation in West Virginia and connect with individuals who used to be tied to WVU. Please send any questions to Alanna.natanson@mail.wvu.edu.
