This volunteer opportunity will take place in honor of MLK Jr. Day, and we will be accepting 20 volunteers to help out at Christian Help (CH) located downtown. Volunteers are required to attend the MLK Day Unity Breakfast at 8am that morning in the Mountainliar Ballroom and then head to their volunteer site. Registration begins at 7:30am in the Vandalia Lounge located inside the Mountainlair. Pre-service reflection will be held in the Gluck Theatre. (You will be promoted to exit the breakfast by a Group Leader and then led to theatre.)
Volunteers will sort clothing and organize racks of donations on site for about 2-3 hours.
Cecily Flight will be assisting with volunteer needs that morning. Amanda, the Volunteer Coordinator at CH, will be the main point of contact on site that day. We ask that all volunteers wear WVU gear.
