Halloween with the Horses is a community event held on Saturday October 26th, 2019 from 5-7pm at the JW Ruby Research Farm in Reedsville, WV. Families can meet the WVU teaching horses dressed in costume, and take part in games, costume contests, and trick-or-treating in a safe environment.
Student volunteers are needed for set up from Noon - 4pm and to work the event from 4 - 8pm on Saturday.
Please wear a kid-friendly costume, closed toed shoes, and layers so you will be comfortable in an outdoor weather environment. The event is rain or shine, and although most of the event takes place under one roof, you should bring rain gear.
Students are needed to decorate, set up, play games, hand out candy, and direct traffic.
Horse experience is not necessary.
