Mason Dixon Historical Park is looking for a group of eager individuals to work stations at our 9th Annual event, An Evening with Santa.
This is a free event hosted to the public to get the community in the Christmas Spirit, we will have multiple different stations that will need helpers, these booths will include Christmas craft ornaments, a Christmas coloring page, cookie decoration station (plain sugar cookies that will be decorated with icing and sprinkles), prize wheel, and games.
These booths will require hands on interaction with children to assist in ensuring the different stations run smoothly. We would like all volunteers to show up at 4:30 pm to aid in any remaining set-up as well as to go over your roll in this event. The event is advertised to run from 5p-7p on Saturday, December 14th. Any assistance needed in clean up would also be involved.
This event will be held at one of the Monongalia County parks, we as park staff are here to please the public. This event will not be in walking distance from campus, as we are located just 15 minutes away from the University Towne Centre. Please only sign up if you are willing to talk and interact with children directly. This will be an easy way to knock a few hours of volunteerism off!
