This February, the Student Government Association is participating in the Advisory Council of Student’s (ACS) Statewide Month of Service, which seeks to alleviate various ares of hardship faced by the community.
We are seeking literacy donations in support of the local Morgantown Public Library during the week of February 19th - 23rd. Suggested donations include:
- Gently used picture and board books appropriate for babies through elementary school students, and graphic novels
- Culturally relevant and diverse books for ages 5-18
We encourage students, faculty, student organizations, alumni, staff, and community members to support the effort!
A donation box for the literacy donations will be in the Mountainlair & WVU Rec Center.
Students can earn 30 minutes of service for every 2 donations.
In order for your service hours to be verified, students must submit their hours to this inactive and send a picture of their donations before placing them in the respective bin. Please make sure the donation box and number of products are visible in the submitted picture.
