To show the WVU Libraries love for the students on Valentine's Day we are making a selection of inclusive romantic movies and books conveniently available at a Pop Up Library in the Mountainlair Student Union. Anyone with a valid WVU ID card can check out the books and films.
The first 24 people willing to pose for a photo with the library to be posted on social media will get a free Unicorn Rose.
Volunteers need to stand, greet people and chat with them about the event. We will give you all the details.
You'll need a fully charged phone to take photos and be willing to post them to IG or TW with the designated hashtags.
We will have a table with a selection of highly acclaimed LGBTQ young adult romance novels and Black Romance movies on DVD, among other themed books and films.
We will distribute free chocolates to people visiting the table.
We need people from 9am - 3 pm, but one hour shifts are fine. If you can be there a solid hour within that time frame, perfect! You may also do more than one hour.
