The Morgantown Public Library is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to walk with us in the 2023 Morgantown Christmas Parade on Monday, December 11th. Volunteers will dress in costumes, walk in the parade, and hand out candy to children. The Morgantown Public Library has a variety of costumes that you can choose from to wear during the parade, and we will provide the candy to be handed out. If you would like to wear your own costume, you can, but it must be kid-friendly (book character or fairytale-themed costumes are preferred if possible). On December 11th, volunteers will meet at the Morgantown Public Library at 5:15pm to select costumes and get dressed for the parade. We will walk over together to line up for the parade, which will begin at 6:00pm. Following the procession, volunteers will come back to the library to return costumes.
