This is an opportunity to participate in the WVU Week of Engagement 2022. On Saturday, April 23rd from 12PM-3:30PM, WVU PAWS is working with the Marion County Humane Society at an adoption event at PetWorks. Volunteers will be needed to help the Marion County Humane Society with whatever they need during this event. This event will be held at PetWorks in Fairmont.
We will NOT be providing transportation to PetWorks, but we can assist with carpooling, so please let us know if you need help finding a ride.
Volunteers may only sign up for one time slot, unless there are remaining spots within the last 24 hours leading up to the event. At which point, we will send out an email allowing for multiple time slots. All volunteers must be a registered WVU PAWS member on WVUENGAGE, and have paid their dues for the Spring 2022 semester.
Members will receive:
- One (1) event point per hour of volunteering
If for any reason you are unable to work the time slot you signed up for, please un-register from the event ASAP to allow other members the chance to participate!
