Pitch-in To Help with The Winter Weatherization Project

The Winter Weather Posse will be working with senior citizen who resides in Monongalia County (age 65+ qualifies) to have his/her home and yard weatherized in preparation for winter. We rake/bag leaves; trim shrubs/bushes; clean gutters; weather strip; caulk windows; adhere plastic on windows; and probably most importantly, we make sure smoke detectors have fresh batteries, install new ones as needed, and install CO detectors if needed. All of this is at no cost to the senior citizen. All of it. No cost. Everyone will meet at Wesley United Church and then break into groups.  Groups will be giving addresses to homes that they will be working at for the day.
