Description

Monongalia EMS and the Monongalia County Health Department are requesting assistance at WVU’s home football game against Oklahoma this Saturday, Nov. 19th.

WVU Students or Faculty/Staff are needed to serve as scribes and or aides to help record patient information, track patient arrivals and discharges, and otherwise assist the EMTs, paramedics, nurses and physicians who will be providing patient care.  No medical training or certification is necessary, and orientation will be provided on-site.

Please respond here in iServe and someone will contact you to confirm your participation.

On Saturday, volunteers should report to the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility across from the South Gate of Milan Puskar Stadium at 6:30pm for assignment.  Parking is not available, and its recommended that volunteers plan to walk, take the PRT, or a shuttle.

Those who will be working inside the stadium will be escorted in past the ticket-takers, as purchasing a ticket is not necessary.  FYI, positions inside the stadium do not provide access to watch the game.  It’s not necessary to commit to working the entire game, either – if you only want to work part of the time, your help is still needed.

Thanks for your interest and please contact Randy Williams at the Monongalia County Health Dept. if you have questions at Randy.L.Williams@wv.gov.
