Description

The WVU Core Arboretum is an outdoor facility for education, research, and recreation. It welcomes visitors every day, from dawn to dusk. The Arboretum is located on a 91-acre tract of hillside and bottomland near the WVU Coliseum. We will paint the fence and curb stops around the Arboretum parking lot, build some new trail, and do other general Arboretum cleanup and maintenance tasks if there is time left. We usually sing Country Roads by the river, too!

Students choosing this project will be bused to the Arboretum with a team leader and may return to campus on their own (via PRT) after the service ends.

Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and clothes that are okay to get dirty. Bring these work clothes to campus.
