Volunteer at the WV Caring Valley District Health Fair on March 16 at 7 am at the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Department w| Bonnie's Bus
We are looking for Nurses and/ or lab techs. with phlebotemy skills to help with blood drawls, as well as, regular volunteers to provide event support, volunteer duties included but not limited to:
- Patient Care; performing blood drawls
- Lab Area; assisting with verifying patient info before testing
- Registration; checking patients in and taking payments
- Event Support; greeting people and providing direction to lab area, recourse tables, and "walk-in" registration
- Runner; checking in on all areas to make sure everyone has what they need & reporting issues or outcomes
- Clean up; help put tables away and sweep after event
Come for an hour or the entire fair, anytime given is greatly appreciated!
We are also looking for organizations and facilities to set up information and resource tables, registration is still open - so if you know of any spread the word! I ask that volunteer arrive 30 minutes before the fair starts (6:30 am) to receive directions and duties.
