Camp Caring Bereavement Camp June 23rd

Camp Caring is a one-day bereavement camp for children, ages 6-14, and the adults who love them. The camp is Saturday, June 23rd at Faith Christian Fellowship in Monongalia County, from 8 am to 5 pm. We are looking for serious volunteers who are willing to help empower children dealing with grief. Volunteers can be adult buddies-matched with a child or support staff-assist with assorted activities. There is also a background check and interview to completed before camp.   It is a wonderful opportunity to work with children and their families coping with loss. Social Work, Psychology, and Nursing Students are good match for this volunteer opportunity.
