Is there a better way to spend a West Virginia summer day than surrounded by our state's native delicacy?
The 4th Annual Great Pepperoni Roll Cookoff! will take place at the Morgantown Market Place Pavilion (the Farmers Market) on Sunday, August 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. We need volunteers from 12 p.m to 5 p.m. to help setting up, running, and tearing down the event.
Work will include set up and tear down of tables and chairs for the event, selling soda, monitoring to make sure things are running smoothly, and generally helping out where needed.
Volunteers (up to 6) will receive an 8-roll ticket for helping out, entitling them to sample EIGHT of our competitors' rolls.
All proceeds from the event support GOLDEN HORSESHOE, a musical celebrating West Virginia history that we perform statewide every year for schools and public audiences.
