Sunday is the second day of the work weekend, and will commence at 1:00 pm with tree-planting in the Overlook Picnic Area. Additionally, maintenance of the existing 170 saplings, planted by prior volunteers, will occur, in the form of weeding, tree-tube adjustment, and fence repair.
We will work very close to the Overflow Parking Lot and the Overlook Parking Lot.
Any additional time after tree-planting will then be spent on trailwork.
Tools, gloves, instruction provided. Volunteers must dress for the weather and expect to get dirty. No sandals, for safety reasons. Please bring your own snacks and drinks.
