Description

Drivers are needed to pick up soup and bread from local restaurants 2 - 4 PM Feb 22. Drivers go to ~4 restaurants, in the same general area, pickup soup and bread donated by the restaurants and deliver it to the loading dock at the back of WVU Towers. Volunteers at Towers will receive the soup and bread.

Restaurants are primarily located in the following areas: downtown, Suncrest, Cheat Lake, Westover, Waterfront, Sabraton, Grafton Road and Star City. Chele Varner oversees this process; she will have taken buckets to the restaurants and will send volunteers detailed instructions on what drivers should do. Drivers can work alone or in teams of 2 - 3 volunteers; the soup buckets maximally hold 3 gal of soup (~25 lb). Soup spillage is minimal, but it's good to cover vehicle floors with a tarp or towel.

Your help is greatly appreciated!
