Our 43rd Annual Holiday Toy & Food Distribution Day is December 12, 2024, at the Morgantown Readiness Center! It runs from 830a-5p with a few varying shift times available. We would love to have you join us. Upon iServe registration, you will receive a direct link to our signup form where you can select your role(s). The volunteer roles are listed below:
Spanish Translators are needed to assist our Spanish-speaking parents.
Registration volunteers are needed to sit at the desks and verify the names and numbers of children given to them by the toy runners. They will then relay this information to the bag pullers.
Bag pullers are volunteers who locate the children's gift bag(s) for pickup and provide them to the toy runners. They must be able to carry loads of more than 50 lbs repetitively throughout their shift.
Toy runners are volunteers who work directly with the pickup person. They get their name, come inside and give it to the registration desk. The bag(s) will be given to the toy runner for delivery to the pickup person. Please note that this job is primarily outside and involves working in rain, snow or shine, so please dress accordingly. Toy runners must be able to carry loads of more than 50 lbs repetitively throughout their shift.
Traffic Control volunteers will keep the traffic flow going to avoid congestion and gridlock. Please note that this job is primarily outside and involves working in rain, snow or shine, so please dress accordingly.
