Move day is here for the high tunnel heading to Westover Urban Farm! We need folks who are able to lift and carry steel high tunnel tubes and other parts for loading onto a flatbed. You should wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, and gloves. You should also consider using other PPE such as eye protection.
Starting at 8 AM, we will meet at the WVU Agronomy Farm and head to the field where the high tunnel has been sorted. We will also need volunteers later that day to unload the high tunnel pieces from the flatbed.
Experience with high tunnels is a bonus but not required. You should be physically able to lift heavy and awkward objects, with assistance.
