Volunteer Needs From: WVU Center for Community Engagement

The Career Center is looking for volunteers to help during career fairs. The STEM Career and Internship Fair is on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 and Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Student Rec Center. Both days have volunteer shifts available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please select one or more time slot(s) below. 

Shift selection is released to volunteers on a first come, first serve basis. The volunteer shifts include: 

Recruiter parking (before the fair starts monitor the parking lot and help direct the employers to the event location) Recruiter drop-off (before the fair starts help with lifting and carrying equipment into the event) Backpack Check station (throughout the day help check-in and out students’ belongings in our backpack check area) Tear down and clean up (at the end of fair gather all of the event materials used for setup)

The Engaging Society Career and Internship Fair is on Thursday, October 1, 2026 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms with volunteer shifts available from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers will get a Treats on Us meal ticket to use in the Mountainlair. Please select one or more time slot(s) below.

Setup (before the fair starts arrange all of the event materials and details for registration, signage, tables, etc.)
