Volunteer: Food Drive Support

Help Us Deliver Hope — Volunteer with Helpful Harvest!

We’re calling on compassionate community members in Monongalia and Preston County to lend a hand in our fight against hunger. The Helpful Harvest Food Program needs volunteers to help pick up donations from local food drive locations and sort items at our central distribution site.

Whether you have a few hours or a full day to give, your time makes a real impact. Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring food gets where it’s needed most—quickly, safely, and with care.

What You’ll Do:

Pick up food donations from designated drop-off sites

Sort and organize items for distribution

Work alongside a passionate team committed to serving our neighbors

Who We’re Looking For:

Individuals, families, or groups ready to roll up their sleeves

Drivers with reliable transportation

Anyone with a heart for service and a few hours to spare

Ready to help? Sign up today and be part of a movement that feeds families and fuels hope.

To schedule your shift and for any questions email courtney@unitedwaympc.org.
