Volunteer Needs From: WVU Center for Community Engagement

Volunteer: Fall 2025 General Volunteering with APBP

We’d love to welcome you as a volunteer!

We ask student volunteers to commit to at least 15 hours per semester. We greatly appreciate a consistent, dedicated presence. Email apbpvolunteers@gmail.com if you are a returning volunteer who has already completed training so that we can update our records.

A one-hour training is required for new volunteers. Training is offered in the Aull Center at 351 Spruce Street—adjacent to the downtown Morgantown Public Library. Advance registration is required. Follow this link to sign up for a training session. * Please use your Mix email when registering.

The training will detail how you can get involved with APBP. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, and a Volunteer Trainer will answer any questions you have. You may volunteer independently during the Aull Center’s hours of operation once you have completed training.

Aull Center Hours of Operation:
Monday and Tuesday: 9 a.m. — 6 p.m.
Wednesday to Friday: 9 a.m. — 4 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. — 1 p.m.

After you complete training and start volunteering, please bookmark our LinkTree. You will frequently use these resources while volunteering; they are also accessible via QR code in the Aull Center.

Please log your hours under this need by navigating to "
Volunteer Need Responses."
* Please
do not submit individual hours using the "Track Hours" tab.

If you are volunteering for a service-learning course, capstone, or any other special project, please email apbpvolunteers@gmail.com prior to volunteering.

This Volunteer Need will expire on 12/31/2025, at which point a new need for the Spring 2026 semester will become available. Please re-register for the new need at that time.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. You can also refer to these APBP FAQs. Thank you for choosing to volunteer with APBP!
