Volunteer Needs From: WVU Center for Community Engagement

The Winter FFA CDE Events welcome high school teams from all over the state to compete in FFA Career Development Events. The winning teams from each of these events will represent West Virginia in the National FFA Contest in the Fall. WVU Student volunteers are essential to making these events run smoothly. Thank you for helping make these events successful and rewarding for the visiting students and their teachers.

This is for volunteers to assist with the Plant Pathology event on 12/12 from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm in the Ag Sciences Building on the Evansdale campus.

This is for volunteers to help with 7th and 8th graders taking the Agriscience exam on 12/12 from 10 am - 1 pm. This will be held in Percival Hall, Room 334.

This is for volunteers to help with the Farm Business Management exam on 12/12 from 9:15 am - 12:30 pm in the Ag Sciences Building on Evansdale campus.

This is for volunteer to guide high school student groups through the Veterinary Science event exams, on 12/12 from 8 am - 11 am. This event is held in the Ag Sciences Building on the Evansdale campus.

This event is for volunteer to guide students through the Entomology event, on 12/12 from 8 am - 12 pm. Please meet at the the South Ag Sciences Building, Room 1021.

This event is for volunteers to assist high school students at the Ag Mechanics event, on 12/11 from 1 pm - 6 pm. This event is held at the Ag Sciences Annex.

This opportunity is for students to assist with groups of high school students competing in the Food Science Event, on 12/11 from 2:45 pm - 6 pm in the Ag Sciences Building on the Evansdale campus.

This opportunity is for students to put away materials following the judging event and assist judges with any necessary tasks, on 12/11 from 5 pm - 7:30 pm at the Greenhouse on the Evansdale campus.

This volunteer opportunity is for students interested in leading groups of students through the floriculture contest on 12/11 from 12:30 - 5 pm. Please meet at the Greenhouse on the Evansdale campus.

This volunteer opportunity is for students interested in guiding and welcoming groups of students as they tour the entomology zoo on 12/11 from 12:15 - 3:30 pm at the Entomology Zoo - Ag Sciences Building - Evansdale Campus.

This volunteer opportunity is for students interested in setting up for the floriculture event on 12/10 from 3-5 pm at the WVU Greenhouse on the Evansdale Campus.
