Getting Started with iServe
Welcome to iServe! This is West Virginia University’s community service portal: Home of volunteer opportunities, hour tracking, and all things data. You are likely here because your class uses community service in its curriculum, you’re interested in how to incorporate and track volunteer hours, or you’re just interested! In any case, below you can find instructions on setting up your iServe class. Interested in taking a step (or leap) further? Visit our Service-Learning Resources page to see how you can get your class S Designated and how to implement community service in the classroom.
How to Access your iServe Class
Visit My User Groups by clicking the top right dropdown arrow. Here you can view your class, assign volunteer needs, and download your class's volunteer resume.
Don't have a class yet?
Email our Academic Community Engagement coordinator, Melissa Calabrese, at serveandlearn@mail.wvu.edu or by giving her a ring at (304) 293-8762. She will need basic information such as class name, amount of students (or approximation), and outcomes of the course (likely a copy of your syllabus).
It's that easy!
