The VISTA Collaborative at WVU is hosting a Winter Gear and Hygiene Items Drive as part of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
Items Requested:
- Single and double tents
- Sleeping bags
- Book bags
- Light-weight cushioned mats
- Boots
- Socks
- Coats and sweaters
- Hot-hands
- Undergarments (all ages, all sizes)
- Deodorant
- Hand sanitizer
- Pads and tampons
- Wipes
- Diapers
- Basic first aid supplies
- Toilet paper
- Lotion
- Chapstick
Canned food and other nonperishable food (e.g. mac-n-cheese, cereal, etc.) are also gladly accepted!
Drop-Off Locations:
- Augusta House (The Center for Service and Learning & Student Conduct) - 660 N High Street
- Front Desk at the Campus Rec Center
- The Student Services suite at the WVU Law School - 101 Law School Drive
All winter gear and hygiene item donations will benefit clients of The Friendship Room.
Food donations will benefit WVU students using The Rack.
After the drive, join us to package the donations at our Service Lock-In Night Serve event!
