The Raleigh County Prevention Coalition is a nonprofit organization working to prevent substance abuse in Raleigh County. Our goals are to reduce drug use through science and research-based prevention programs; support treatment of individuals suffering from Substance Abuse Disorder; reintegrate individuals recovering from Substance Abuse Disorder into the community; create a recovery ecosystem model that addresses stakeholder roles and responsibilities as part of a collaborative process that develops infrastructure and operations, and fund deployment of local planning and implementation of the model and examine funding models to sustain the recovery ecosystem; and organize, resource, and coordinate research, prevention, treatment, and reintegration efforts involving Substance Use Disorders.
