Who We Are

Who We Are

At United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties, we believe everyone deserves the chance to build a good life — one with access to quality education, stable employment, financial security, and good health. That’s why we bring people and organizations together to create lasting change in our community.

We focus on the building blocks for a better life: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Through strategic partnerships, community investments, and collaborative action, we tackle the most critical issues facing our neighbors.

Our work is guided by four bold Community Goals that address these essential areas. Every volunteer hour, every donation, and every effort helps us move closer to a stronger, healthier, and more equitable community. Together, we can improve lives and make a meaningful impact — one person, one family, and one neighborhood at a time.
