PattyFest

We are a music festival that is in honor of Patty Looman who devoted her retirement years teaching anyone willing to learn how to play the hammered and lap dulcimer. She taught in private homes, churches, schools, her home or anywhere someone wanted her to teach....all free of charge. Along with that, she belonged in several musical groups with different instruments. This festival offers FREE workshops on the Hammered and lap dulcimer, psaltry, harmonica, guitar, mandolin, fiddle , harp, banjo, autoharp, spoons and sometimes upright bass. At times, we are able to find a teacher for a flat foot workshop. All the teachers volunteer their time to do this. We also have a sales table and have food for purchase. Anyone or group has an opportunity to play on stage also.
